A refugee from Kabul, Afghanistan, Rahim brings to the resource coordination team a long history of human-centered service. Rahim’s dedication to his family’s new home reaches as far back as his career with the U.S. Embassy, as does his love for meeting and helping people.

There’s few things he finds more fulfilling than facilitating healthcare access and financial assistance for those who have fled violence like he has, and few people our program participants are happier to be helped by! Between his compassion, capability, and his “brother,” Google Translate, no cultural barrier can keep Rahim from creating connection!
