Thrive International is empowering multicultural communities to THRIVE.
Who are we?
Thrive International was conceived in late 2021 by a diverse group of innovators who share a vision for thriving multicultural communities. Some were born just a few miles from where they live now, while others have circled the globe, experiencing life in multiple countries. All have witnessed the transformative power of cross-cultural relationships, enriching both their individual lives and the communities around them.
Based in Spokane, WA, Thrive International is initially focusing on empowering communities in Eastern Washington and North Idaho, as well as expanding its efforts to include Tacoma. We recognize that barriers to thriving extend beyond regional borders, so we are also engaged in initiatives to empower immigrants and citizens in other U.S. communities and internationally, collaborating with a network of trusted partners to drive meaningful change.
Thrive provides temporary-refugee housing, education, and empowerment programs, all under one roof.
Our purpose is to move refugees from surviving to thriving.

Our backstory
Thrive International was formed just weeks before the outbreak of war in Ukraine and quickly pivoted to address the influx of hundreds of Ukrainian refugees, serving more than 1,000 new Ukrainians in 2022. As we continue to house over 100 refugee families at a time, we are also expanding our mission to reach the broader refugee and immigrant population in Washington State and internationally as we partner with organizations inside refugee camps.
Overall our goal is to move refugees from surviving to thriving.

We are here to empower refugee and immigrant communities in Spokane and beyond. Having recently left their home countries, these multi-cultural groups are often doing everything they can to simply survive, but our mission is to move refugees from surviving to THRIVING. Through education, training, and creating spaces for refugees and citizens to get to know each other, Thrive is helping cultivate a more vibrant community by embracing our diversity.
