Thrive International is responding to a critical emergency affecting refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants across Washington State. Due to deep cuts in federal and state funding, essential operational and capital resources are at risk—yet the need has never been greater.

Thrive International is on the front lines, helping those displaced by war, climate change, and economic upheaval rebuild their lives in safety and dignity. Our residents and program participants come from countries including Afghanistan, Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan, Russia, Syria, Venezuela, and Ukraine. But we can’t do it alone.

Capital Campaign

Thrive is making history with two transformative housing initiatives:

  • In partnership with the Spokane Public Library, we're breaking ground on Thrive International Apartments, a $10.5 million innovative affordable housing project in North Spokane featuring 48 apartments dedicated to workforce and refugee housing, a community center, 24-7 library kiosk and community garden.

  • Thrive International is working to purchase its 115-unit housing site on South Hosmer Street in Tacoma for $10.7 million, securing, stable shelter for approximately 400 residents and unhoused immigrant neighbors in the Puget Sound area. The site provides housing for asylum seekers along with on-site wraparound services, including immigration assistance with an in-house attorney and connections to social and medical resources.
