A second-generation immigrant born to Mexican parents, Sonia serves as Thrive’s very own immigration attorney! An advocate at heart, Sonia has spent her whole life volunteering her support for immigrants and persons of color. In pursuit of her mission to uplift and empower underserved communities; there’s nowhere Sonia would rather be than at Thrive filing asylum cases and immigration papers.

What fuels her is the privilege to give back to her community, to serve the Spanish speaking community as a beacon of hope and trust, and to earn their support in turn!
